IFOR WILLIAMS TRAILERS NZ ATLAS TRAILERS

In September 2024, John & Carole Williams, Directors of Ifor Williams Trailers made the time to visit Rob and Helen Pooler of Atlas Trailers based 30 minutes from Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand. Not only was this the first time that John & Carole had visited New Zealand, but it was also the first time that John & Carole had the pleasure of meeting with Rob and Helen in person, having just missed each other on many previous occasions. 

It was a great pleasure for John & Carole to turn off the main road and be greeted with rows and rows of Trailers – and Floats, that not too long ago had left the manufacturing sites based across North Wales, before making their journey in shipping containers, across to this beautifully, located sales premises on the other side of the world. 

John & Carole felt the passion for the blue brand immediately, not only from Rob and Helen Pooler, but also from their highly engaged sales and technical teams who have been working with the brand for nearly 20 years.

The combined product range knowledge of the Atlas Trailers team was as high as anywhere you will find within the network, and it was apparent that any calling or visiting customer would be accurately advised on which IWT product would best suit their needs.

The professional sales, storage and workshop premises, demonstrated the work of this family business in presenting the product in the best way possible and also their commitment to providing a great workplace for all the highly involved team. Seeing the availability of Genuine Parts, to assist loyal customers in keeping their trailers safe, road worthy and as an aid to protecting customer investment, was of special interest to the Directors, who have recently invested over £14million into a world class, world-wide, Genuine Parts distribution facility.

Sadly, as ever, time was too short, and the Directors had to leave but they left with a desire to return, to spend a longer amount of time with this fantastic team and with a formulating plan, for bringing the whole New Zealand network closer together within the wider family of Ifor Williams Trailers in 2025.

The Directors of Ifor Williams Trailers would like to acknowledge and thank Rob & Helen Pooler and their entire team for their professional efforts in selling and promoting the Ifor Williams Trailer brand and look forward to meeting up again soon either in Wales or NZ.

We collectively look forward to 2025 with new energy and a 100% commitment to serve the trailer users of New Zealand on both the North and South Islands, with a highly engaged network of Distributors who can and will deliver a personal and professional touch to all customers of Ifor Williams Trailers.
