GX Plant.
The Ifor Williams GX Series trailers are constructed from folded pregalvanized steel sections with filled-in sides for greater flexibility. The body design allows the machine operator to safely step down from the cab.
The GX range are offered with either hinged adjustable skids or full-width loading ramp. In addition, a built in bucket rest is offered as standard. There are also a variety of options available to suit different requirements. Available accessories are a knife edge ramp, lashing rings, ladder rack, and load restraining strap. The GX range offers versatility with a range of sizes from the GX84 to the largest GX126 which can also be a tri-axle, including heavy duty variants. GX trailers have a maximum gross weight ranging from 2700kg to 3500kg.
All of our GX models are fitted with an integrated ramp and skid supports. This standard feature ensures trailers are supported whilst being loaded without the need to deploy prop stands.

Hinged Skids

Spring Assisted Self Supporting Ramp
When you are working on your own Ifor Williams is always trying to help you with the spring assisted ramp there is no more need to strain your back by lifting heavy ramps.
Resin Coated Plywood Platform
Our GX Trailer comes fitted with a Heavy Duty, Resin Coated Plywood Floor. This offers excellent resistance to damage, whilst offering a non-slip surface for added protection. The edges of the Floor Panels are also treated to reduce the ingress of water, offering a long lasting solution.
Spare Wheel & Carrier
If you want extra peace of mind with your trailer or you regularly travel long distances with your GX, then why not have the addition of a Spare Wheel Carrier and Spare Wheel to get yourself back on the road quickly.
Integrated Prop Stands - Plant
These integrated prop stands ensure that your ramp will withhold the advised loading weight when loading your machine and equipment for safer and faster loading of your trailer.
Security Marking
The Serial Number is either cut into the Drawbar or engraved onto the Chassis of the trailer.

KNIFE EDGE RAMP
The Knife Edge Ramp offers a very small lip for loading of items onto the trailer that have small wheels. It also makes the transition from floor to trailer smoother.
LASHING RING RECESSED 500Kg
Need more Lashing Points? Our Recessed Lashing Points, rated at 500kg each, are fitted into the floor at the point of manufacture offering further options for restraining your load.
LADDER RACK
Why not enhance your GX with the addition of a Ladder Rack Kit? These Ladder Racks allow for the transport of materials that are longer than your trailer, making our GX Plant Trailer even more versatile.
LOAD RESTRAINING STRAP
Load Restraining Straps or “Ratchet Straps” as they are commonly known allow your load to be secured to the trailer quickly and easily. Always ensure your straps are undamaged and strong enough for the load to be secured.
COUPLING LOCK
Our Ifor Williams Coupling Lock fits neatly around the Coupling Head to make the theft of your trailer much more difficult. Manufactured from High-Grade Steels and a durable Powder Coated Finish. The Lock is a High Security Lock which features an Anti-Drilling Barrel. For extra piece of mind we also supply an additional High Security Barrel which will fit into a Lockable Coupling Head so that one key will open both the Coupling Lock and the Coupling Head Barrel.
